You see what you expect to see. This is not only true for your eyes, but your outlook on life. Gratitude Journals, Meditation (even “micro-dosing” meditation), and Cold Plunges are great ways to be mindful about the breadth of the human experience and help us pessimists remember that there are really awesome, beautiful things happening in life if we take the time to open our eyes and focus on them. It makes for a much fuller, rich experience of life.
